His book “Three Minutes to Doomsday” was made into a movie by George Clooney, and his book “Louder Than Words” was praised by the Wall Street Journal as “one of the six best business books to read for your career.” Eleven years later, “What Every BODY is Saying” is still the best-selling body language book in the world.
Joe Navarro – Nonverbal Communication.
Nonverbal behaviors account for about 60-80% of all interpersonal communication. They can reveal a person’s true thoughts, feelings, concerns, and intentions. And because people are not always aware that they are communicating nonverbally, body language is often more honest than the spoken word.
In a virtual setting, Joe Navarro will explore the applied use of nonverbal communication in business to better assess others, for due diligence, or to better negotiate or manage. Based on his decades of experience studying human behavior, Joe Navarro will highlight the key behaviors executives need to know in order to decipher what is really being said in meetings and especially in negotiations.
This presentation is immediately practical, detailed and full of valuable advice on how to decode the most important nonverbal expressions; how to communicate more effectively and confidently as well as persuasively.
Joe Navarro – Influence.
This presentation focuses on “influence” – what it is and how to achieve it. Everything from your “curbside appeal” to lasting impressions that inspire and attract will be explored. He will discuss how we use time, color, space, touch, distance, simplicity, manners, words and gestures to better connect with others and how we can better communicate empathy, trust and caring. This portion of the presentation highlights what truly influences and motivates others. This is the perfect presentation for anyone interested in harnessing the power of influence through anything non-verbal.
Joe Navarro – Due Diligence & Perception Management.
This presentation is dedicated to how we can differentiate ourselves by developing skills in these two areas. How to properly question and test others for truthfulness and how to properly manage perception. Two distinct areas, but critical for today’s leader who interacts with the public and the media, as well as for managing and gathering facts effectively.
Whether you lead a large team or interact primarily with individuals, there is a place for nonverbal communication in your skill set. If deciphering what others are thinking appeals to you, if you are involved in negotiations or sales, or if you simply want to manage perceptions, Joe Navarro’s presentation on the power of nonverbal communication will give you the immediate tools and skills that are essential for today’s business environment.
