Carlo Ancelotti is known for his reliability and his serenity when working under pressure, and he has also made himself a legend for restoring clubs to their former glory. He is an inspirational speaker who talks about teamwork, leadership and success in highly competitive environments.

His career as manager started at Reggiana in 1995 where he led the team to promotion to Serie A. The following year, he left for Parma and met the future stars Gianluigi Buffon and Fabio Cannavaro. Parma finished second and guaranteed a Champion League Place. In 1999, Ancelotti was appointed Juventus manager. Two years later he returned to Milan, where he had been a midfielder in the late 1980 and part of the squad that won two consecutive European Cups in 1989 and 1990. As Milan manager, Ancelotti was able to adopt a creative play that made the team win the UEFA Champions league in 2003 and 2007. From 2009 to 2011 he was manager of the Chelsea. The team won the 2009-10 Premiere League. Then, he left for Paris Saint-Germain and again won the top division competition, Le Ligue 1.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti was appointed manager of Real Madrid in 2013. In his first season, the team won the Copa del Rey against Barcelona. Also, Ancelotti lead Real Madrid to win the Champions League, achieving the much expected tenth European Cup for the team. After leaving Real Madrid at the end of the 2014-15, he decided to take a sabbatical year from football. In 2016 Ancelotti was officially introduced as coach of Bayern Munich, replacing Pep Guardiola, a team that trained until September 28, 2017.

In 2010 he released his autobiography Carlo Ancelotti: The Beautiful Games of an Ordinary Genius, an insightful compilation of his experiences as football player and manager.
