Carsten Maschmeyer is a successful entrepreneur, consultant, startup founder and financial investor. Carsten Maschmeyer sits on the jury of "Die Höhle des Löwen.
He was born on May 8, 1959 in Bremen and grew up in Hildesheim, where he graduated from high school in 1978. In order to finance his subsequent medical studies, he worked part-time in the sales department of an investment consulting firm until 1982, when he devoted himself entirely to financial consulting.

In 1988, Carsten Maschmeyer founded the financial group AWD, which was successfully floated on the stock market in 2000 and moved up to the M-DAX, as well as expanding into eleven countries. In 2007, he sold all his shares in the company to the largest Swiss life insurer, Swiss Life.

Today, he advises decision-makers on sales strategies for numerous companies. All his investment activities are bundled under the strategic umbrella of the Maschmeyer Group. Together with the head of Max Plank, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Holsboer, he founded the company HMNC in Munich, which specializes in curing depression and brain disease.
With his book "Selfmade - erfolgreich eben" Carsten Maschmeyer became a best-selling author and is a very popular speaker on the subject of success. In the meantime, Carsten Maschmeyer has published two more books: "The Millionaire Formula" and in 2021 "The Six Elements of Success".
Carsten Maschmeyer is the father of two sons and is married to the actress Veronica Ferres.
